Manage the amenity catalog
Use Admin → Amenities to maintain the shared catalog of amenities for the brand. This is the source for amenity names, groups, descriptions, marketing context, images, member terminology, alternatives, benefits, and display order.
This screen answers:
How should the brand define and describe this amenity wherever it is used?
It does not decide whether every club offers the amenity. Each club makes that selection separately in Clubs → club → Amenities.
Each club selects which shared amenities it actually offers.
A catalog record is not automatically available at every club.Linked amenities are grouped and listed in catalog order.
Names, codes, groups, and order should be publish-ready.Supported lookups use member language, benefits, and alternatives.
Aliases and the primary benefit change how questions are answered.Why catalog quality matters
A saved catalog record can support several experiences:
- public club pages list assigned amenities by catalog group and display order;
- supported agent lookups recognize aliases, lead with the primary benefit, and suggest configured alternatives when an amenity is unavailable;
- club-assignment screens show the description, marketing callout, benefits, aliases, and alternatives to help staff select the correct item; and
- stable codes and image URLs support links, landing pages, marketing content, and search-oriented experiences.
Write every field as reusable, publishable source content. A given website, agent, or marketing surface may use only part of the record today, but edits are made to the shared record rather than a private copy.
Changes have brand-wide scope. Renaming, moving, or deleting an amenity can affect every club that uses the same catalog record.

Publication timing
Saving makes the catalog record authoritative immediately. Supported live agent lookups use current data on their next request. Public pages can use a cache, so a catalog edit may not be visible there at the same instant.
For a time-sensitive launch, verify the affected club page after saving and allow the public cache to refresh before announcing the change.
The Amenities catalog is available to Admin users. If the navigation item or an expected action is missing, ask an administrator to confirm your Admin access.
